What to Know

After a four-game homestand, the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks will be on the road. They will take on the Western Illinois Leathernecks at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday at Western Hall. Miami (Ohio) should still be riding high after a win, while WIU will be looking to right the ship.

The RedHawks have more to be thankful for after their contest against the Defiance Yellow Jackets on Tuesday. Miami (Ohio) was totally in charge, breezing past Defiance 99-47 at home.

As for WIU, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They fell in a 72-68 heartbreaker to the Eastern Michigan Eagles.

Miami (Ohio) was able to grind out a solid victory over the Leathernecks when the two teams previously met in December of last year, winning 67-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for the RedHawks since the squad won’t have home-court advantage. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
