It looks like the Wildcats got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They came up short against the Liberty Flames on Tuesday, falling 59-51.

As for Seton Hall, they can’t say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the California Golden Bears on Wednesday, sneaking past 62-59. The overall outcome was to be expected, but California made it more of a game than the oddsmakers had predicted. Seton Hall got double-digit scores from four players: guard Jared Rhoden (21), guard Kadary Richmond (12), forward Tyrese Samuel (10), and forward Alexis Yetna (10).

Bethune-Cookman is now 1-5 while the Pirates sit at 4-1. A couple defensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Wildcats have allowed their opponents to shoot 47.60% from the floor on average, which is the 18th highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. Seton Hall’s defense has more to brag about, as they they have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 36.50%, which places them 24th in college basketball.
