Idaho @ North Dakota State
Current Records: Idaho 1-5; North Dakota State 3-2
What to Know
The North Dakota State Bison have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Idaho Vandals at 8 p.m. ET Nov. 27 at Scheels Center. The Bison will be strutting in after a win while Idaho will be stumbling in from a defeat.
North Dakota State has more to be thankful for after their contest against the Tarleton St. Texans on Monday. North Dakota State escaped with a win by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53.
As for Idaho, it looks like they got the smaller half of the wishbone at Thanksgiving dinner. They fell just short of the Cal Poly Mustangs by a score of 67-63.
North Dakota State’s victory brought them up to 3-2 while the Vandals’ loss pulled them down to 1-5. A pair of stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Bison have only been able to knock down 37.40% percent of their shots, which is the fifth lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. Idaho has experienced some struggles of their own as they have allowed their opponents to shoot 49.30% from the floor on average, which is the sixth highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
