The oddsmakers predicted a rough contest for Denver on Thursday, and boy were they were right. Things couldn’t have gone much worse for them as they lost 84-61 to the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

Meanwhile, South Dakota made easy work of the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks on Thursday and carried off a 91-69 victory.

Denver’s defeat took them down to 9-18 while South Dakota’s win pulled them up to 14-10. We’ll see if the Pioneers can steal the Coyotes’ luck or if South Dakota records another victory instead.
