Who’s Playing
Baltimore @ Chicago
Current Records: Baltimore 6-3; Chicago 3-6
What to Know
The Chicago Bears should come into this matchup well-rested after a week off from action. They will take on the Baltimore Ravens at 1 p.m. ET Sunday at home. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
It was close but no cigar for Chicago as they fell 29-27 to the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks ago. A silver lining for the Bears was the play of WR Darnell Mooney, who punched in one rushing touchdown in addition to snatching one receiving TD.
Meanwhile, Baltimore came up short against the Miami Dolphins last Thursday, falling 22-10. No one had a standout game offensively for Baltimore, but QB Lamar Jackson led the way with one touchdown.
Chicago is expected to lose this next one by 5. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the team is 2-5 ATS when expected to lose.
Chicago is now 3-6 while the Ravens sit at a mirror-image 6-3. A couple offensive numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: The Bears are worst in the NFL in passing touchdowns, with only five on the season. Baltimore’s offense has more to brag about, as they they enter the contest with 154.1 rushing yards per game on average, which is the best in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked in their favor.
