Who’s Playing
Pennsylvania @ Towson
Current Records: Pennsylvania 3-4; Towson 2-2
What to Know
The Towson Tigers will take on the Pennsylvania Quakers at 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday at home. UPenn will be strutting in after a win while the Tigers will be stumbling in from a loss.
Towson lost a heartbreaker to the Pittsburgh Panthers when they met in December of 2017, and they left with a heavy heart again this past Friday. Towson fell just short of Pitt by a score of 63-59. Towson’s defeat came about despite a quality game from Cam Holden, who had 25 points along with seven boards.
Meanwhile, UPenn netted a 71-63 victory over the Old Dominion Monarchs on Sunday. Guard Jonah Charles was the offensive standout of the contest for the Quakers, shooting 5-for-7 from downtown and finishing with 16 points and seven rebounds. Charles had some trouble finding his footing against the Davidson Wildcats this past Friday, so this was a step in the right direction. Charles’ points were the most he has had all year.
The Tigers are now 2-2 while UPenn sits at 3-4. UPenn is 1-1 after wins this season, and Towson is 1-0 after losses.
