The South Carolina Gamecocks will square off against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at 11:11 a.m. ET on Sunday at Harrah’s Cherokee Center. Both teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

The Gamecocks were close but no cigar on Friday as they fell 66-62 to the Princeton Tigers. Guard James Reese V had a rough night: he played for 32 minutes but put up just five points on 2-for-12 shooting.

Speaking of close games: it was close but no cigar for WKU as they fell 73-69 to the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday. The matchup was as close as the oddsmakers predicted, but the Hilltoppers had been the slight favorite coming in. The losing side was boosted by Dayvion McKnight, who had 34 points in addition to nine boards.
