The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for something special for the upcoming NFL season.

Tom Brady is back for his 23rd season but he hasn’t shown signs of slowing down after tallying 5,316 yards and 43 touchdowns last season.

The 45-year-old quarterback will also have an enviable receiving corps led by Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Both of them had over 1,000 receiving yards last season and combined for 19 touchdowns.

Then there’s Julio Jones, who ESPN’s Jeff Darlington shared is back to his 2019 version.

An injury-free Jones gives Tampa Bay an All-Pro wideout as their third option.

However, their advantage doesn’t end there as they also signed Russell Gage to a three-year, $30 million contract.

Unfortunately, his stint with the Super Bowl LV champions hit a little roadblock, as NFL insider Dov Kleiman shared.

If that’s the case, he could be back on the field in no time.

The team can use his talent, which enabled him to collect 770 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Having Gage, Jones, Godwin, and Evans at the top of their game is a scary thought for all opponents.

Buccaneers Are A Cheat Code

It’s unfair to have two elite receivers in Evans and Godwin leading the way.

Then, Jones is a solid third option who can also bounce back from injuries and gain 1,000 yards.

Tampa Bay can also spread opposing defenses thin with Gage in formation.

Brady will be able to maximize their skill and march the offense down the field.

By adding Jones and Gage, the Buccaneers reiterate their intention of winning it all in 2022.

Once the season starts, it’s a matter of putting all of the pieces together.

When a player makes his Major League debut, it always makes for a memorable day in his life.

And when that hit is a big two-run homer over the Green Monster at Fenway Park, it’s a night worth celebrating.

Top prospect Vaughn Grissom made his debut for the Atlanta Braves in game two of their series against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Wednesday night and hit one over the Green Monster for his first Major League home run.

A Night To Remember

That’s one way to start off your Major League career.

Grissom did it in style.

The Green Monster out in left field is one of the most difficult hurdles a hitter runs into when playing at Fenway Park.

Sometimes, no matter how hard or high you hit it, it’s going to bounce off the wall and end up resulting in just a single.

But Grissom managed to clear the wall out in left and create a moment that he’ll never forget.

That’s one of the better ways a guy can pick up their first Major League hit, going all the way over the Green Monster.

The Braves won last night’s game by a final of 8-4 and managed to take the series from the Red Sox, but the story of the game was Grissom’s debut.

He got to make his debut in one of baseball’s most historic stadiums, and in addition to that, hit one over the Monster for his first career home run and hit.

It’s hard to draw it up any better for Grissom.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones is trying to revive his career after two down seasons.

In 2020, he only had 773 yards and nine touchdowns for the Atlanta Falcons.

Last season, he had career-worst numbers of 31 receptions for 434 yards and a touchdown.

Those stats are atypical from a wideout who has been an All-Pro five times and a Pro Bowler seven times.

Jones also led the league in receiving yards twice and is a part of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.

Now in Tampa Bay, he seems to be taking pointers from 45-year-old quarterback Tom Brady.

After all, Jones looks as if he is turning back time, according to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington.

In a short video posted on the Get Up Twitter account, Darlington said, “Julio Jones, the Bucs’ recently-acquired wide receiver, looks like the 2019 version of Julio Jones out here. If he can stay healthy and that’s a big if, enjoy that one.”

Darlington was ecstatic in sharing the news that he even cut an update about Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

If that’s the case, Buccaneers fans are in for a treat.

In 2019, Jones played 15 games and finished with 1,394 yards to go with six touchdowns.

But then again, Darlington hinted that staying healthy is Jones’ biggest challenge because he only played 19 games over the past two seasons.

Brady Has A Full Receiving Corps At Hand

What’s scarier for opposing teams is that Jones will play with one of the game’s greatest winners.

Having Jones, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin gives Brady limitless options in the passing game.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be impossible for Tampa Bay to make a postseason return while Brady completes another 5,000-yard season.

Opposing defenses are at their mercy if they fire from all cylinders.
