Success is sweet for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

After being tagged as washed up and a problem during his time with the Cleveland Browns, he finally became a major contributor to a Super Bowl-winning team.

He scored a touchdown early in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals and could have been the game’s MVP if he kept on playing.

Unfortunately, he suffered a gruesome injury by his lonesome that turned out to be an ACL tear.

If not for that injury, he could have taken the ball into the end zone for his second touchdown.

Instead, he’s facing the possibility of missing the majority of next season.

That possibility may have induced grief upon him, as shown in his tweet.

“Heartbreaker. Can’t even lie to y’all,” is all Beckham could say after seeing the video of his injury.

It is indeed heartbreaking because he was already at home in Los Angeles.

His huge performances during the playoffs also made him worthy of a huge contract extension.

Instead, he will undergo another rehabilitation process to get back into game shape.

Other Reactions On Beckham’s Injury

Key figures in the Rams organization had their instant reactions to the gruesome injury in the video.

Head coach Sean McVay uttered “Oh no” while quarterback Matthew Stafford speculated, “I think he tore it.”

McVay followed with “Is that his knee?” while walking towards Beckham with a terrified look on his face.

Meanwhile, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow gave a quick assessment of what happened, saying, “He had a shallow cross. He stepped weird.”

Regardless of the injury, Beckham now has a Vince Lombardi Trophy to silence his detractors.

Whether they are from the Rams or from the other teams, all NFL players wish for his speedy recovery.

Jaguars HC Shared A Bold Trevor Lawrence Prediction

The Jacksonville Jaguars took a step in the right direction when they drafted Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence drew comparisons to Peyton Manning and was deemed as the most complete quarterback prospect in recent years after dominating in High School and a nearly-perfect career at Clemson.

But the early results were kind of concerning, even if young QBs should always expect some growing pains in the first couple of years.

Now, after a season under HC Doug Pederson and taking a major leap forward, his coach believes he’s on the verge of joining the list of elite QBs in the league.

To be fair, it’s not like he was put in a good position when he first entered the league.

The Jaguars hired Urban Meyer as their HC, and he made a strong case for being not only the worst coach in franchise history but also one of the worst coaches the NFL had ever seen.

A toxic workplace culture, a poorly-built roster, flawed game-planning and decision-making, and a lack of leadership made it tough for Lawrence to be at his best in his first season.

The Jaguars won the AFC South division title in Pederson’s first year in charge of the team, and they look poised to go back-to-back this season as well.

Lawrence now plays for a quarterback’s coach and the physical traits, work ethic, and mechanics are all there, so there’s no reason to think he can’t be a legit MVP candidate in his third campaign in the National Football League.
