The Chiefs vs. Raiders rivalry has been decidedly one-sided in recent years as Kansas City has won 11 of the last 13 head-to-head meetings. The two will meet again on Sunday Night Football and both squads feature elite tight ends in Travis Kelce and Darren Waller. They rank first and second, respectively, in receptions at the position since the 2019 season and both will be highly coveted for NFL DFS lineups on Sunday.

One of McClure’s top NFL DFS picks for Sunday Night Football is Raiders receiver Hunter Renfrow. The slot man has become Vegas’ de facto No. 1 receiver following the release of Henry Ruggs III. Renfrow posted a 7-49-1 stat line in that role last week and tied a career-high with nine targets.

Renfrow is on pace for career-highs of 95 receptions and 952 yards, and both of those projections should increase given his new role. Meanwhile, Kansas City’s defense has allowed the fifth-most passing yards and sixth-most passing touchdowns in the NFL. Numerous wideouts have taken advantage of Kansas City all season and Renfrow should exploit the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.

Part of McClure’s optimal NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Chiefs wideout Tyreek Hill, who posted an 11-102-1 stat line the last time he faced the Raiders. Hill ranks second in the NFL in receptions (68), fifth in receiving yards (772) and seventh in receiving touchdowns (six).

Hill has been targeted 101 times through nine games, which is also the second-most in the league as he’s leapfrogged Kelce as Kansas City’s top receiving option. He also should benefit from going up against a Raiders defense that has suddenly become susceptible vs. opposing receivers. Mets Make A Monumental New Hire Official

The New York Mets had been trying to bring in a top baseball mind for a while.

They had their sights on David Stearns, who revamped the Milwaukee Brewers since he took over in the mid-2010s.

Now that his contract in Milwaukee expired, the Mets made it official: they are hiring Stearns, a native New Yorker and a Mets fan growing up, to a multi-year contract to be the president of baseball operations.

Per Mets insider Anthony DiComo, the deal to bring him to Queens is finalized.

“The David Stearns hiring is now official, with his press conference scheduled for a couple hours from now. Stearns, in a statement: ‘I grew up, in large part, at Shea. I lived and breathed Mets baseball and I’m thrilled I get to do that again,’” DiComo tweeted.

Stearns will live the dream of every young, avid fan: to make baseball decisions for their favorite team.

With great power comes great responsibility, though.

People in New York and Mets fans are seeing him as the savior, the guy who will bring the third World Series title in franchise history.

However, he will need time to do things his way and for his changes to start showing.

Will Mets owner Steve Cohen and fans afford him that time?

They should, because no big, successful project starts overnight.

Stearns has the expertise and the experience: under his guidance, the Brewers made the playoffs every year from 2018 to 2021, and then in 2023.

He knows what he is doing, and could transform the Mets into a sustainable, well-oiled machine.

Alvin Kamara Gets Honest On Saints’ Offensive Struggles

The New Orleans Saints had one of their best offensive players back on the field on Sunday, as Alvin Kamara returned from his three-game suspension.

Nonetheless, the Tennessee product couldn’t cap off his stellar return with a win.

Kamara had 13 receptions but was only able to turn them into 33 yards.

He had 84 total yards from scrimmage, almost half of the 197 total yards his team put on.

With that in mind, Kamara called out his offensive teammates for their season-long struggles, which were once again on full display after putting up just nine points against a divisional rival.

Dennis Allen’s team ranked No. 25 in points before the beginning of the game, and Kamara believes is time the coaching staff and offensive players do some soul-searching and look to get back on track for the remainder of the season, via ProFootballTalk.

“It’s been two years since we had that offense that was rolling. Now we’re kind of in this rut.” Kamara said, via John Sigler of USAToday.com. “It is what it is right now. What you see. Like I said, we’ve got to have some conversations about something. Because I don’t like losing.”

QB Derek Carr was once again behind center despite the rumors of him potentially missing time with his shoulder injury, so it makes sense that they struggled to move the chains against Todd Bowles’ team and defense.

Allen admitted that the offense is still a work in progress, and it might take a while until we see them at their best.

Chris Olave is an elite young wide receiver already, but Carr hasn’t looked comfortable in his new offense just yet.

Practice makes perfect, but the Saints might need to turn things around quite quickly, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look like the strongest team in the NFC South right now.
