The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are getting the band back together.

It took Brady’s U-turn from retirement to turn things around for the better.

With the seven-time Super Bowl winner returning for a 23rd season, Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette both agreed to three-year extensions.

They also got offensive lineman Shaq Mason to address the void left by Ali Marpet and Alex Cappa.

Tampa Bay also acquired wide receiver Russell Gage and cornerback Logan Ryan.

But despite those transactions, Ndamukong Suh thinks that their talent level is still incomplete based on his recent tweet.

The All-Pro defensive lineman said, “Congrats to Todd Bowles on becoming head coach of a great team that still feels one man light on talent.”

Suh remains a free agent, together with defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

However, the market for both players remains dry, and re-signing with Tampa Bay is looking to be their only plausible option.

Unfortunately, it’s unclear if the Buccaneers will have the five-time Pro Bowler back.

But now that the team will have a defensive-minded head coach in Bowles, he might be interested in getting back players that are committed to winning another championship.

Can Suh Still Perform At A High Level?

It’s a positive sign that the former Nebraska standout was able to play 17 regular-season games in 2021.

Sadly, his numbers denote that his best years are behind him.

He had a career-low 27 tackles last season to go with six sacks and a fumble recovery.

While he can still contribute in some ways, the Buccaneers are looking to build their defensive line around Vita Vea.

But if Tampa Bay decides to bring Suh back, it’s hard to see him taking anything near his $9 million salary last season.
