Former Boston Celtics teammates Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen haven’t gotten along in years.

In fact, there is some speculation they haven’t spoken to one another.

Yet the two came face-to-face on Sunday night during the NBA All-Star Game, when both were guests and members of the 75th-anniversary team.

But if the way Garnett reacted is any indication, they won’t be buddy-buddy again any time soon.

Garnett’s face when Allen walked by said it all, indicating that the bad blood remains and it might not be changing any time soon.

What gives?

Garnett and Allen were a part of the legendary Celtics squad that was dominating the NBA back in the early 2010s.

However, when Allen decided to part ways with the squad for the Miami Heat in 2012, Garnett was more than a little upset.

It was made even worse when the Heat, featuring Allen and LeBron James, went on to win the NBA Finals in 2013.

KG has spoken publicly about the falling out on multiple occasions and has made no secret of the fact that his feelings were hurt and he felt betrayed.

However, Garnett recently said that things were cordial, and if the two players saw one another, Garnett would be more than willing to say hello and speak with him.

Yet, this latest interaction at the All-Star Game suggests that is not the case.

NBA Twitter ate up Garnett and Allen’s strained moment and Garnett’s face was quickly making the rounds online as people once again spoke of the pair’s falling out and the feud that followed.

Garnett hasn’t publicly commented on his All-Star Game reaction to Allen but, really, he doesn’t have to – his face says it all.

Boston is one of the ultimate sports towns on Earth, and the Boston Celtics have had plenty to do with that.

For decades, they were the undisputed greatest franchise in the league, and not even ceding that much ground to the Los Angeles Lakers has been enough to change that status.

That’s why Celtics guard Marcus Smart knows what’s at stake when they take the floor for Game 7 tonight.

In a recent interview, the former Defensive Player of the Year acknowledged that making history would be huge for this group.

The Celtics could join the 2004 Boston Red Sox as the only two teams in major sports history to come back from a 0-3 series deficit.

NBA teams are 0-149 in that scenario and just three teams before them were able to even force Game 7, although all of them had to play it on the road.

The Celtics have taken a ‘one game at a time’ mindset ahead of tonight’s matchup, warning the Miami Heat not to let them win one game.

Joe Mazzulla has been more confident and sound in this three-game rampage, but the players’ body language, mindset, and energy, have been the biggest difference from the first three matchups.

Now, all eyes will be set on the TD Garden to see whether this team has what it takes to write its name in history books.

Anything can happen tonight, and that’s the beauty of sports.
