The NFL is in good hands with its crop of young and talented quarterbacks.

They will carry the league’s mantle once the veterans retire.

For some reason, most of the young talent is in the AFC, making the competition in that conference exciting for years to come.

Part of that bunch is the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen and the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson.

Jackson missed the last four weeks of the 2021 season due to an ankle injury.

Before his absence, he was playing like an MVP to lead the injury-laden Ravens to victory.

Meanwhile, Allen was 13 seconds away from hosting the AFC Championship Game.

However, his performance during the Divisional Weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs makes him a force in the foreseeable future.

The versatility of these two quarterbacks allowed them to share a distinction wherein they are the only members.

NBC Sports’ Warren Sharp tweeted that Allen and Jackson are the only players in NFL history to have at least 80 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns before their 50th career start.

Allen And Jackson Are Two Legitimate Stars

It’s a tremendous accomplishment that they’ve achieved in different ways.

Jackson is more of a slick runner, evading tackles and slipping through gaps.

His skill set made him the first quarterback in NFL history to have multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.

On the other hand, Allen combines his burst of speed with his size to gain extra yards.

While both quarterbacks did it their way, they will be constant fixtures of succeeding AFC postseasons.

Allen and the Bills are looking to dominate the AFC East.

Meanwhile, Jackson and the Ravens are in a tough grind in the AFC North.

But their out of this world talent gives their teams an edge against the opposition.
