Washington came up short against the Southern California Trojans this past Thursday, falling 79-69. A silver lining for Washington was the play of guard Terrell Brown Jr., who had 23 points and six assists in addition to five steals and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, everything went UCLA’s way against the Washington State Cougars this past Thursday as they made off with a 76-56 victory. Guard Jaylen Clark was the offensive standout of the game for UCLA, posting a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards along with five assists.

The Huskies are now 13-11 while the Bruins sit at 18-5. Two stats to keep an eye on: Washington enters the contest with 16.7 takeaways on average, good for 18th best in college basketball.
