That makes it nine consecutive games in which Massalski has had at least ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Gaels received a tough blow on Saturday as they fell 74-58 to the Gonzaga Bulldogs. One thing holding Saint Mary’s back was the mediocre play of guard Logan Johnson, who did not have his best game: he finished with only six points on 2-for-10 shooting in his 32 minutes on the court.
The Dons’ win brought them up to 21-6 while Saint Mary’s’ defeat pulled them down to 20-6. San Francisco is 15-5 after wins this season, and Saint Mary’s is 5-0 after losses.
