The North Texas Mean Green will square off against the Drake Bulldogs at 10:30 a.m. ET on Sunday at HP Field House. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

The Mean Green were within striking distance but couldn’t close the gap on Friday as they fell 69-63 to the Miami (Fla.) Hurricanes. The top scorer for North Texas was forward Thomas Bell (18 points).

Meanwhile, Drake came up short against the Alabama Crimson Tide on Friday, falling 80-71. Guard D.J. Wilkins (17 points), forward Shanquan Hemphill (15 points), and guard Tucker DeVries (15 points) were the top scorers for Drake.

The losses put North Texas at 2-3 and Drake at a reciprocal 3-2. The Mean Green are 1-1 after losses this year, the Bulldogs 0-1.
