When two of the best MLB managers get confused about what to do in a tied spring training game, that makes for an interesting headline.

When it’s caught on live TV, it’s absolutely hilarious.

Such was the case on Wednesday night in a spring training matchup between the New York Mets and the Houston Astros.

The game was headed to the bottom of the ninth inning all tied up.

Both Dusty Baker and Buck Showalter were ready to plan for the possibility of extra innings, but cameras on SNY, the Mets TV network, caught the two of them looking confused as ever.

What Now?

This entire situation is hilarious.

Both Baker and Showalter, who are two of the greatest managers the game has ever seen, were caught on camera looking absolutely flustered as they stare at each other for a sign on what to do next.

It’s very similar to the famous Spider-Man meme, with the Spidey’s pointing at each other, confused to see what looks like a mirror image of themselves.

That obviously isn’t the case here, but by the looks of it, the two are very confused and are looking to each other for any clues on what happens next.

Sometimes, these moments just find us and that was certainly the case in last night’s game, while also evoking some memories of that classic Spider-Man meme.

Ultimately, an extra inning was played, and the Astros emerged victorious by a final score of 5-3, with Franklin Barreto hitting a two-run homer to put Houston ahead for good, but it’s still nice to see a hilarious moment such as what happened in the bottom of the ninth be caught on camera.
