Fantasy Football Week 10 Sleepers: Tyler Johnson could catch big break with Bucs, plus DFS lineups

Published

on

We’re waiting to find out Chris Godwin’s status for Week 10, but he’s considered a game-time decision for Sunday’s game at Washington with a foot injury. If he’s out, consider Tyler Johnson a solid sleeper in all leagues.

The Buccaneers are already without Antonio Brown (ankle) and Rob Gronkowski (back), and Scotty Miller (toe) isn’t guaranteed to return this week. That could put Johnson in a prominent spot opposite Mike Evans, making him a key weapon for Tom Brady.

In Tampa Bay’s last game in Week 8 at New Orleans, Johnson stepped up with five catches for 65 yards on six targets. The catches and yards were a season high, and hopefully that’s a game he builds on this week against Washington.

It’s a dream matchup since Washington allows the most Fantasy points to opposing receivers. Eight opposing receivers have scored at least 12 PPR points against Washington this year, and the Football Team has allowed 14 touchdowns to the position.

Evans has the chance to be the No. 1 Fantasy receiver this week with Brown and potentially Godwin out, and Fournette should be heavily involved in the passing game as well. We could also see an increase in production for guys like O.J. Howard, Cameron Brate and Giovani Bernard.

But I’ll use Johnson as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues if Godwin doesn’t play. It’s a great opportunity in an amazing matchup for Johnson, and hopefully he takes advantage of it.

DraftKings

QB: Tom Brady (at WAS) $7,600
RB:
James Conner (vs. CAR) $6,300
RB: J.D. McKissic (vs. TB) $5,200
WR: Terry McLaurin (vs. TB) $7,600
WR: Mike Evans (at WAS) $6,900
WR: Jerry Jeudy (vs. PHI) $5,300
TE: Dan Arnold (at IND) $3,500
FLEX: Russell Gage (vs. DAL) $5,000
DST: Titans (vs. NO) $2,600

Brady has a dream matchup against Washington, and he should lean on Evans quite a bit with Godwin potentially out. I love this stack, even though it could be popular.

I’m countering my Tampa Bay stack with McLaurin and McKissic, and I expect both to be heavily involved with Washington likely chasing points. Jeudy and Gage are my other receivers, and this should be Jeudy’s breakout game against the Eagles.

Conner is headed for a huge game with Edmonds out, and Arnold has done a nice job for the Jaguars with D.J. Chark (ankle) out. I love Arnold’s matchup against the Colts this week.

FanDuel

QB: Carson Wentz (vs. JAC) $7,500
RB: Ezekiel Elliott (vs. ATL) $8,000
RB: Cordarrelle Patterson (at DAL) $7,800
WR: Amari Cooper (vs. ATL) $7,300
WR: Michael Pittman (vs. JAC) $7,200
WR: Tyler Johnson (at WAS) $5,100
TE: Noah Fant (vs. PHI) $5,700
FLEX: DK Metcalf (at GB) $8,000
DEF: Chargers (vs. MIN) $3,300

Wentz is my Start of the Week, and I’ll stack him with Pittman here. They should go off against the Jaguars, and I’m not worried about Pittman with T.Y. Hilton (concussion) back in action.

My other receivers are Cooper, Johnson and Metcalf in the flex. I expect the Cowboys-Falcons game to be high scoring, so hopefully Cooper has a big role. And I like Metcalf against the Packers with Russell Wilson (finger) back for Seattle.

Patterson should do well against the Cowboys, and Elliott should have a big game also. Fant also has a fantastic matchup against the Eagles, who allow the most Fantasy points to opposing tight ends this year.
