Who’s Playing

St. Peter’s @ Fairfield

Current Records: St. Peter’s 11-10; Fairfield 12-14

What to Know

The Fairfield Stags’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on the St. Peter’s Peacocks at 7 p.m. ET Feb. 18 at Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard. The teams split their matchups last year, with St. Peter’s winning the first 66-49 at home and the Stags taking the second 52-47.

Fairfield came up short against the Manhattan Jaspers on Wednesday, falling 74-67.

Meanwhile, St. Peter’s came up short against the Iona Gaels on Tuesday, falling 70-61.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Fairfield is expected to win a tight contest Friday. Their home court has been no bettor’s paradise, though, as they’ve failed to beat the spread in eight of their 13 home games.

Fairfield didn’t have too much breathing room in their game with the Peacocks when the two teams previously met in March of last year, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. The Stags’ win shoved St. Peter’s out of the playoffs, so they have a target on their back.
