Game 2 of the NBA Finals will get underway on Sunday night in the Mile High City, with all the pressure on the Miami Heat to win before heading home to face the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 and Game 4 at the Kayesa Center.

One of the keys to getting a win in Game 2 to even the series at one game apiece will be the Heat containing star guard Jamal Murray, who always seems to excel in the NBA playoffs, and this year is no different.

In Game 1, Murray finished with 26 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds, helping lead the Nuggets to an 11-point victory on the road to start the series.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green thinks the Heat should switch up their strategy on how to contain Murray, with Miami putting Jimmy Butler on the Nuggets star in Game 2, as he said on his podcast via The Volume.

This isn’t a bad strategy from Green, and it could make an impact on the game if Erik Spoelstra and his coaching staff decide to go that route.

One thing is for sure, the Heat can’t come out with the same strategy and energy that they had in Game 1, as it was utterly ineffective and resulted in the Nuggets cruising to victory and taking the series lead right out of the gate.

Game 2’s outcome will be crucial to how the rest of the series pans out, as a win for Miami changes the series entirely, and a win for Denver potentially makes it a foregone conclusion that they’ll be lifting the Larry O’Brien Trophy when it’s all said and done.

The Texas Rangers have been an organization that has gone “all-in” in recent years.

They have been aggressive in free agency and on the trade market to build the best roster possible.

Now the time has come for the Rangers to show what they can do in October.

Even after a disappointing end to the regular season, the Rangers found themselves as the second seed in the AL Wild Card standings.

They are set to face the Tampa Bay Rays for a three-game series.

This is the first time in seven years that the Rangers will be in the postseason.

You can bet the organization wants to make sure the fans are excited about this opportunity.

The Rangers released a hype video as they get set for the playoffs to begin on Tuesday.

If you are a Rangers fan it is hard to not get excited about this team.

They have a good balance of great hitters and starting pitchers.

But their one Achilles heel is their bullpen.

Down the stretch their bullpen has failed them, which led to them losing the AL West crown.

It is time to see what this team is capable of with everything on the line.

One player to keep an eye on is shortstop Corey Seager.

He will be a finalist for the AL MVP and has plenty of postseason experience under his belt.

The team should rely on Seager to make sure everything is in order as the postseason gets ready to begin.

The Rangers are not the favorites to win the AL pennant.

But, they have a lineup that can get hot and carry them all the way.

The MLB postseason is set to begin on Tuesday afternoon with the Wild Card round.

The one matchup that a lot of people are interested in is the Toronto Blue Jays taking on the Minnesota Twins.

Despite the Twins hosting the series, the Blue Jays are a team many people are picking.

Most of that is due to the Twins’ inability to have success in the postseason.

The Twins have lost 18 consecutive postseason contests.

That is a losing streak dating back to 2004.

But the Twins are hoping that this is the year they can end the drought.

They received some good news involving a few of their players before the series begins on Tuesday.

According to Bob Nightengale, Carlos Correa and Royce Lewis will be on the postseason roster.

Both players missed the final two weeks of the regular season and their playoff status was uncertain.

Both will be welcome additions to a lineup that needs as much firepower as it can get.

Lewis and Correa are both middle-of-the-order bats that should play a significant role in their success.

Correa has a ton of postseason experience under his belt from his time in Houston, while Lewis has finally come into his own this year after many seasons battling injury.

There is no question both of these players need to be in the lineup for the Twins to have success.

Twins fans do not just want to see their team end the winless drought.

Winning the series is the most important thing to them.

They certainly have their work cut out for them facing a strong Blue Jays team.
