Ekeler is also third on the squad with 39 receptions for 340 yards with four receiving touchdowns. The West Colorado product averages 4.7 yards per rush and 8.7 yards per reception.

Ekeler has gone over 100 scrimmage yards in five games this season, including four straight from Weeks 2-5. In Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, Ekeler had 17 carries for 66 yards and two scores. He also racked up five receptions for 53 yards and another score. The week prior against the Las Vegas Raiders, he finished with a season-high 117 rushing yards and a score. 

Why the Steelers can cover

Rookie Najee Harris is an all-purpose back for Pittsburgh. The Alabama product is second in the league in carries (176) and sixth in rushing yards (646). Harris is also the third leading pass-catcher for the Steelers with 44 receptions for 317 yards. The 2021 first-round pick has scored six total touchdowns.

Diontae Johnson leads Pittsburgh with 52 receptions for 613 yards and three touchdowns. The Toledo product has constantly made big plays for the Steelers’ offense with nine passes of 20-plus yards downfield. Johnson averages a team-high 76.6 receiving yards per game and has seen double-digit targets six times this year.
