Pennsylvania @ Bucknell
Current Records: Pennsylvania 0-2; Bucknell 0-1
What to Know
The Pennsylvania Quakers are on the road again Sunday and play against the Bucknell Bison at 2 p.m. ET Nov. 14 at Sojka Pavilion. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they’ll have plenty of motivation to get the ‘W.’
UPenn has to be hurting after a devastating 87-66 defeat at the hands of the George Mason Patriots this past Friday.
Meanwhile, the game between Bucknell and the NC State Wolfpack last week was not particularly close, with the Bison falling 88-70. Bucknell got double-digit scores from four players: Andrew Funk (14), Xander Rice (14), Jake van der Heijden (13), and Josh Adoh (12).
Barring any buzzer beaters, UPenn is expected to win a tight contest. They have failed bettors playing the spread in all their past two games, so buyers beware.
The losses put UPenn at 0-2 and Bucknell at 0-1. A couple last-season stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Quakers are fourth worst in college basketball in turnovers per game, with on average. The Bison experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the contest with the 356th fewest takeaways in college basketball, having accrued only 11.5 on average. It’s possible one of these Achilles’ heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
