Buccaneers GM Shared An Iconic Bruce Arians Picture
What a drama-filled offseason for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
First, Tom Brady announced his retirement after 22 NFL seasons.
His departure prompted the likes of Alex Cappa, Ronald Jones, Jordan Whitehead, and O.J. Howard to sign elsewhere.
Ali Marpet also retired after seven seasons.
Then, Brady ended his retirement after 40 days, which also led to the return of some key players.
Both Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette signed three-year deals while they were able to bring in Russell Gage and Logan Ryan.
But more than two weeks after Brady’s return, Bruce Arians announced his retirement from coaching to take on a front office role.
Former defensive coordinator Todd Bowles will take his place as head coach.
While Arians won’t call the shots on the sidelines anymore, he will still be around in the team’s facility working with general manager Jason Licht.
Yet as the longtime coach moved on to another role, Licht still remembered celebrating Arians’ three seasons as Tampa Bay’s main mentor.

Licht tweeted a photo of him and Arians during the Buccaneers’ victory parade for Super Bowl LV with the caption,”Winning and boozin’ was a lot of fun, BA. Love ya, brother!”
They get to work together behind the scenes as they constantly build a winner in Tampa Bay.
The Timing Of Arians’ Retirement Seems Odd
Bowles deserves getting another head coaching role after his disappointing stint with the New York Jets.
With the Buccaneers, he is expected to lead the team to the playoffs.
But there must be a deeper reason for Arians’ sudden departure.
His reason is to allow Bowles to coach a competitive team.
But why resign after your best player returns?
Could it be that Brady had a hand in Arians’ transfer?
