Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is satisfied with the way he left the team.

He made sure that his successor, former defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, will still have a competitive roster next season.

More importantly, he won Super Bowl LV with the squad.

He also knows that the offense is in good hands under Byron Leftwich and returning quarterback Tom Brady.

Arians is at peace knowing that the Buccaneers will continue to be one of the NFL’s elite franchises.

Even his son, TDN Fantasy Co-Host and Arians Family Foundation president Jake Arians, knows that his father had no regrets about leaving coaching behind.

The Buccaneers will continue to live by Arians’ “no risk it, no biscuit” mantra, which helped them clinch two consecutive postseason berths.

Meanwhile, having Brady under center is like having an extra head coach who will instill discipline and accountability in his fellow players.

The 44-year-old quarterback also enticed Leonard Fournette and Chris Godwin to return.

Arians Will Still Be Around

Players can still get a ton of wisdom from Arians because he will continue to work for the Buccaneers.

However, he won’t be the one making the final decision every Sunday since he will be taking on a front-office role.

He will be closely working with general manager Jason Licht on maintaining their highly-competitive roster without potentially breaking the bank.

It’s a relatively foreign position for the older Arians because he has been a coach for more than four decades.

But taking his philosophy in mind, he will risk his time and energy to offer the best work possible.
