Bruce Arians Sent A Heartfelt Message To All His Buccaneers Players

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be Bruce Arians’ final coaching stop.

However, he’s not leaving the game for good because he will be taking a front office role with Tampa Bay.

Taking his spot is Todd Bowles who had been his defensive coordinator since 2019.

Bowles had a previous head coaching experience with the New York Jets but only had one winning season in four years.

Getting the top coaching position at Tampa Bay gives him the chance to bounce back from that previous setback.

But as Bowles takes over, Arians had a parting message to the players he coached with the Buccaneers for three seasons.

NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo shared the image containing Arians’ message to Tampa Bay’s players.

He apologized for not being able to say his goodbye to coaching on a personal approach and he’s doing it as a generic message.

Then, he revealed his intention of stepping down as head coach and joining general manager Jason Licht in the front office.

He also thanked the players, especially for helping him win a Super Bowl.

Arians also reminded them that he will still be around criticizing them when they make mistakes.

Finally, he is looking forward to building more personal relationships with his former players.

Tom Brady’s Return Was His Signal

But the most striking part of his message is, “With Tom coming back, the guys we’ve been able to retain, and the new free agents we’ve added, I know that this team is built for success. That’s why I know that now is the time.”

Getting Brady back is like having a head coach constantly challenging the players to do better.

Pair him with Byron Leftwich and they will have the offensive play-calling on lock.

It’s also a nice gesture for Arians to turn the Buccaneers over to Bowles while they have a great roster.
