The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to compete for another Super Bowl.

Tom Brady‘s return inspires their other key players to extend their tenure with the team.

What looked like a murky situation during Brady’s brief retirement now looks positive, even if they lost key players like Ali Marpet and Alex Cappa.

They remain one of the top teams in the NFL and they will continue to win regardless of who’s at the coaching helm.

Even if Bruce Arians decided to step down as head coach and move to a front-office role, the Buccaneers are still in good hands.

After all, Brady and new head coach Todd Bowles have the team covered.

But even on his way out, Arians still looked after the Buccaneers’ welfare, especially that of his successor as NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport shared.

Rapoport said, “Bruce Arians really made a fascinating decision: Tom Brady comes back to the #Bucs, and he knows they’ll be good. Rather than have Todd Bowles take over a bad team or one in transition, he chooses now to pass it off. Arians made sure Bowles will coach a good team.”

Could there have been a possibility wherein Arians stays without Brady?

But for the veteran mentor, the time is ripe to hand over his role.

Bowles’ Head Coaching Tenure Will Be Different

There have been apprehensions when Bowles was named Arians’ successor.

Why not hand over the job to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich who nearly had the head coaching role with the Jacksonville Jaguars?

Likewise, Bowles already failed in his first stint as head coach for the New York Jets.

However, that experience will help him become a better coach

Not to take away from his spotlight as well, but anyone who coaches Brady will look good.

Bowles will be fine, now that he has more talent to work with.

Richard Sherman Shares His Preview For Eagles-49ers

The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in this weekend’s marquee matchup in the NFL.

It will be a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game and hopefully a more competitive game than that one, as 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy exited it early with a torn UCL in his throwing elbow.

San Francisco is currently favored to win that game even though it will be played in Philly, and former star cornerback Richard Sherman, who had a stint with the Niners not too long ago, says he expects the Niners to win, per The Volume.

Sherman’s reasoning is that although the Eagles are an NFL-best 10-1, their wins haven’t come that easily, and their defense is vulnerable.

They rank 19th in total yards given up and 20th in points allowed, and their pass defense ranks near the bottom of the league in multiple categories.

San Francisco has the goods to expose that pass defense with two stud wide receivers in Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk and one of the league’s best tight ends in George Kittle, not to mention quarterback Brock Purdy.

Purdy leads everyone in passer rating, yards per pass attempt, yards per completion, and pass completion percentage while ranking second in QBR.

Sherman also mentioned how the Niners’ defense has gotten even better after their trade for pass rusher Chase Young about a month ago.

Young has 1.5 sacks in three games with them, and the attention he has attracted from opposing offensive lineman has helped unlock Nick Bosa, last season’s Defensive Player of the Year.
