Current Records: Cent. Arkansas 0-2; Baylor 2-0
What to Know
The Cent. Arkansas Bears’ road trip will continue as they head to Ferrell Center at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday to face off against the #9 Baylor Bears. Baylor will be strutting in after a win while Cent. Arkansas will be stumbling in from a loss.
Cent. Arkansas took a serious blow against the Butler Bulldogs last week, falling 85-53. Cent. Arkansas’ defeat came about despite a quality game from Camren Hunter, who had 14 points.
Meanwhile, Baylor made easy work of the Nicholls State Colonels on Monday and carried off an 89-60 victory. Guard LJ Cryer and guard Kendall Brown were among the main playmakers for Baylor as the former shot 5-for-6 from downtown and finished with 20 points and the latter almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, ten dimes, and eight boards.
Cent. Arkansas is the clear underdog, so they’re hoping it’s the size of the fight that determines this one. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn’t have high expectations for them since the squad is 0-2 ATS when expected to lose.
Cent. Arkansas was pulverized by Baylor 93-56 when the two teams previously met in December of last year. Can Cent. Arkansas avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself? We’ll soon find out.
