The Green Bay Packers are in a tough position this offseason.

They are coming off a season where they finished 8-9, and the future of Aaron Rodgers is bleak.

As of now, there is no answer as to what Rodgers will do about his playing career.

He could retire, ask for a trade, or come back and play with the Packers.

But, Green Bay might be looking toward a future without Rodgers no matter what he decides.

They have Jordan Love in the house who was their first-round pick in 2020.

He has yet to show what he can do for a large period as an NFL quarterback.

Green Bay might not be willing to move Love without at least seeing what he can do.

So that means Rodgers might be on the outside looking in.

The Packers are expected to explore trade opportunities for Rodgers but only with AFC teams.

If the Packers decide to trade Rodgers they do not want to have to face him every year.

That is why sending him to the AFC is the only option.

Some teams that might be interested in the four-time MVP include the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders.

Both teams have playoff-caliber rosters in place, but their lack of quarterback play is what held them back this season.

The Jets even brought in Nathaniel Hackett who has a successful past with Rodgers.

While the Raiders have Rodgers’ former teammate Davante Adams.

Both teams seem like good options for Rodgers if he is indeed traded.

For now, we all wait for Green Bay to sort out what they want to do before any decisions are made.
