2022 Fantasy Baseball Draft Prep: Tiers 4.0, featuring every position on one printable page

Published

I know why you’re here. I know you’re looking for. I could wax poetic about my favorite breakout pick or offer up flowery prose on my latest strategic findings. But in the end, you just want a list of names, sorted by position and grouped by projected outcome.

In short, you want to see my tiers.

Tiers, for the uninitiated, are a practical way of organizing rankings for their most optimal use on Draft Day. The goal is to accentuate which position is closest to a drop-off by denoting (roughly) where the drop-offs are at each position. During the heat of the draft, you’ll know that the position to target is the one that’s current tier is closest to depletion.

So here they are. Oh, not enough? You think you should be able to print them, too? All on one page!?

Well, that’s what this link is for. Click on it and watch as your wildest dreams come true.

Now, for those of us living in the 21st century …

Richard Sherman Shares His Preview For Eagles-49ers

The San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles will face off in this weekend’s marquee matchup in the NFL.

It will be a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game and hopefully a more competitive game than that one, as 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy exited it early with a torn UCL in his throwing elbow.

San Francisco is currently favored to win that game even though it will be played in Philly, and former star cornerback Richard Sherman, who had a stint with the Niners not too long ago, says he expects the Niners to win, per The Volume.

Sherman’s reasoning is that although the Eagles are an NFL-best 10-1, their wins haven’t come that easily, and their defense is vulnerable.

They rank 19th in total yards given up and 20th in points allowed, and their pass defense ranks near the bottom of the league in multiple categories.

San Francisco has the goods to expose that pass defense with two stud wide receivers in Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk and one of the league’s best tight ends in George Kittle, not to mention quarterback Brock Purdy.

Purdy leads everyone in passer rating, yards per pass attempt, yards per completion, and pass completion percentage while ranking second in QBR.

Sherman also mentioned how the Niners’ defense has gotten even better after their trade for pass rusher Chase Young about a month ago.

Young has 1.5 sacks in three games with them, and the attention he has attracted from opposing offensive lineman has helped unlock Nick Bosa, last season’s Defensive Player of the Year.
